Member Services
An interactive website that offers member services will keep your membership coming back to the site. This enables you to communicate more effectively with them as well as significantly reduce the number of phone calls and office/window visits so your office can become more productive.
We encourage our customers to think about what types of phone calls and office visits your members are making. Are they asking for information that someone has to look up in a system? Are they dropping off a check to pay their dues? Are they checking their position on the out-of-work list? Whatever it may be, oftentimes these are opportunities for automation that result in better service to the members as well as increased office productivity.
The goal is to integrate the website with your existing systems so that members can self-service at their convenience rather than just during office hours. From paying dues online to re-confirming their availability for work, a website can easily (and very popularly) be of great service to the membership.
Automated reminders
Our systems also offer valuable services to the members and the office in the form of automated reminders. The system can automatically send email reminders to members 14/7/1 day in advance of an event and follow-up reminders after the fact. For example, if dues payments are due on the 15th of each month, the system can automatically send reminders to those who haven’t paid and then continue with past due notices according to a particular schedule.
Mass Communication
When we build an interactive site, each member is assigned a login using some unique identifier. When they login we capture email address and cell phone number (if not already available). This database can be used to send mass emails or text messages to the membership. Based on individual member preference, many of our customers now email a majority of their newsletters rather than mail them.
